Pathway Dental is a “fee for service” dental office. At the most basic level, that means we have set fees for the procedures we complete and those fees are the same whether or not a patient has insurance. Working outside of dental benefit (insurance) networks allows Pathway Dental to charge a fair and fixed rate for specific procedures that we offer, rather than have our fees managed and dictated by a third-party insurance provider. The fair pricing allows Pathway Dental to select the best procedures and methodologies, rather than the ones that will only fit into the plan’s “package.”
That being said, many of the services and procedures we provide are covered by dental benefit. If you have dental benefit, we would be happy to help you maximize your benefits by filing your paperwork and assisting with any billing questions.
It is our policy to have the patient pay for their services at the time of treatment. As a courtesy, we will contact your dental insurance provider to check your coverage and benefits. Our office will submit claims on your behalf with reimbursement to be sent directly to you after the claims have been processed.
Most insurance companies prefer to reimburse the patient directly, making it more cost-effective and efficient for all parties involved to pay for the dental treatment at the time of the appointment.
If you do not have dental insurance or if your dental insurance carrier will not cover your treatment, we do offer a range of payment options including: cash, check, credit card, or financing with CareCredit for qualified patients.
At Pathway Dental, we provide Comprehensive Dental Care, excelling patient expectations with more than what a regular exam offers. Our philosophy encompasses evaluating the entire oral system structure together, not only teeth and gums.
